Welcoming the Weekend

1. This week I broke down and bought this faux ficus tree for the playroom. I just couldn’t bear Sami eating the dirt of our poor fiddle leaf fig, and you know what the fake is pretty believable!

2. I started making mint lemonades at home and I don’t know why I didn’t sooner. Better late than never I suppose!

3. This song has been on repeat in our house, and let’s just say we no love in a yellow submarine.

4. I’ve been itching to sew lately and I am eyeing everything from this pattern maker.

5. A friend shared her Jane Austen puzzle with me and now I am obsessed with all the literary themed jigsaws out there.

6. I recently upgraded my work tote and now I feel way chicer than I did with my old tote bag.

7. September is usually when I taper off fresh flowers and start pulling out more candles. These tapers have such unique colors and they are affordable.

8. I am eagerly awaiting this plaid jacket, it just screams fall and I need a statement piece to jazz up my basics.

Welcoming the Weekend

It’s the first day of my favorite month and I am starting it with an extra long weekend. I hope you are too!

1. These jeans are all I am wearing these days. And I traded in an old pair of jeans to get $50 off!

2. This home is making me look at mine in a new light. Not to mention it has inspired me to declutter!

3. I started a quilt last month and now all I want to do is make one like this.

4. I bought Sami this activity board, and although it is $$$ I standby my decision. It’s paying dividend in independent playtime.
